This is a project for a new KVV2 cogeneration unit to be built adjacent to the existing cogeneration unit in Örtoft in the municipality of Esloev in Sweden. The new heating plant will be designed to have the smallest possible climate footprint. Recycled wood, wood chips, bark and shavings will be used as fuel. The plant will also be prepared for carbon capture, so-called CCS, which has been identified as an important component in achieving global climate goals.
The new cogeneration unit is supposed to contribute to improving the tense situation in the area and will ensure the supply of heat in the regional district heating system.
