In November we successfully completed an interesting contract for the Borinka waterworks near Stupava in Slovakia. The challenge was to separate the inflow of drinking water from the cave system from its next gravity path to the water treatment plant. From here, water travels to end users, who are residents of the Stupava region. For the separation we used a slide gate with extension of stem serie MC 1000x200 AISI316 SS / EPDM.
However, the placement of the drain (overflow) below the water level was a complication. Installation was therefore necessary directly in the inflow pool. We have invited Speleo Bratislava cave club, which is technically equipped for the work and has many years of experience in the field.
The cooperation took place without complications and to the satisfaction of the customer. Thanks to Speleo Bratislava cave club.
