In recent days we have completed the acceptance of high-pressure valves for building up carried out by our long-term business partner, UNIS, a.s., in Belarus.
At the request of the Belarusian OAO Naftan refinery the acceptance of valves was performed in the scope of visual inspection, dimensional and penetration inspection of BW ends , pressure tests of strength and tightness according to API 598 and last, but not least, complex checking of documentation. The checking of documenation is one of the most demanding agendas for deliveries to Belarus. The preparation of all certificates, passports, manuals and protocols requires highly qualified and experienced staff.
The acceptance took place in the presence of quality manager of UNIS company and an independent inspector from the renowned company Bureau Veritas. Gate valves and swing check valvess of pressure class 1500 (PN 250 bar) ans sized 3“–10“ (80–250 mm) have passed strength and tightness tests performed by our technicians on a modern test facility in our logistics and service center in Vracov.
The whole order was under a lot of time pressure due to the planned shutdown. The complications caused by COVID-19 measures cannot be overlooked either. Nevertheless, after a successful acceptance, the valves were immediately packed and shipped to Belarus in time.
